GANGA PEAK. Ganga Choti is a scenic peak near the towns of Sudhan Gali and Bani Minhasan in Bagh District, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. It is situated in the Pir Panjal Range and is the end point of the Panjal Mastan National Park which is well known in Azad Kashmir for its scenic landscapes. This national park is spread from Pir Kanthi to Ganga Choti and passes through the villages of Khawaja, Jabbarh Ratnoi and Kotla. Ganga Choti is situated along and linked with Inter district road between district Bagh and district Muzzaffarabad.
Zilzaal Lake: Due to the devastating earthquake of October 8th 2005, like other areas of AJK, the areas in Jhelum Valley also witnessed massive devastation. Four villages namely “Curli”, “Bhat Shir”, “Lodhiabad” and “Padder” located in between Chikkar and Bani Hafiz were reported to be completely destroyed when the mountains collided very badly and got converted into heaps of rubble burying about 575 people underneath. The collapsed mountain peaks and the rubble of the four villages blocked the natural flow of the water which resulted in the creation of a natural Lake stretched over an area of about 3 Kms. This newly born lake was named as “Zilzaal Lake” and now it has gained great deal of popularity among tourists. it is situated with an altitude of 1570 meters ASL and tourists can be enjoying on boating on this lake. Sudhan Gali AJ&K This beautiful, scenic place attracts hundreds of tourists from all over Azad Kashmir and Pakistan. There are two guest houses for tourists, which are constructed very beautifully and attract large number of people each summer. However, these houses are occupied mostly by well known, well connected, and influential people and are not available most of the times for common tourists due to lack of a transparent system that would accommodate ordinary tourists. Sudhan Gali is famous for its hiking trails that lead to Ganga Choti (Peak), a mountain peak about 9989 feet (3044 m) feet high which is one of the most famous tourist attractions in AJK, Pakistan. Sharda - a breath-taking green spot at an altitude of 1981m. Shardi and Nardi are two mountain peaks overlooking the valley, reputedly named after legendary princess Sharda. It has a captivating landscape with numerous springs and hill-sides covered with trees. On the right bank, opposite Sharda, the Neelum is joined by the Surgan Nallah along which a track leads to Nurinar Pass and through it to the Kaghan Valley.
